Netanyahu: Cabinet Will Decide Which International Forces Can Enter Gaza
Rokna Political Desk: In his latest remarks to the commanders of the Israeli army, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Israel has undergone a fundamental change in its approach to regional developments, emphasizing the need for a strong and well-informed military.
According to Rokna, citing Al-Rasheed TV, Netanyahu asserted that his cabinet would decide which international forces are permitted to enter Gaza and which will not be allowed.
During a meeting with senior commanders of the Israeli army’s reserve forces—attended by Defense Minister Yisrael Katz and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir—Netanyahu claimed that the regime requires a large, powerful, and knowledgeable army.
He said that plans are underway to extend the period of compulsory military service and to strengthen the reserve forces.
Netanyahu further claimed: “We have changed. We no longer settle for containment; we are always dynamic and proactive. We have not only changed the Middle East but also changed ourselves. The reserve forces form an essential part of the structure of the Israeli army.”
