Trump: Mexican cartels are targeting U.S. immigration agents!

Writing on Truth Social, Trump stated, “This is very horrifying. The Department of Homeland Security says that criminal organizations in Mexico are offering thousands of dollars to carry out attacks on federal agents, and the amount depends on their work: $2,000 for gathering intelligence or exposing agents’ identities, such as photographs or family details; between $5,000 and $10,000 for kidnapping or non-lethal attacks on regular immigration or border protection officers; and up to $50,000 for the assassination of senior officials. Our immigration agents are facing attacks that have increased by over 1,000%.”

Observers note that this surge in attacks could be a direct result of the intense pressure Trump placed on the U.S.–Mexico border during his presidency. The border region forms a crucial part of the economic relationship between the two nations. Millions of Mexican and Latin American migrants have crossed this border in search of work in the United States, while American entrepreneurs have benefited from reduced costs through cross-border labor.

Trump-Mexican-targeting U.S. immigration agents2!

Out of the United States’ population of 330 million, approximately 67 million are Latino, with 37 million of Mexican descent. Analysts emphasize that the organized efforts of Mexicans and Latinos to increase their demographic presence in the U.S.—particularly in the southern states—mirror the historical actions taken by Washington during the annexation of Texas and other territories that once belonged to Mexico.
