Iran condemns repeated Israeli military attacks on Lebanon
Rokna Political Desk: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei strongly condemned the repeated military aggressions by the Israeli regime against Lebanon and its continuous violations of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to Rokna, citing the official government news portal, Baghaei denounced Saturday’s Israeli drone strike on the southern Lebanese village of Al-Masaylih, which targeted machinery and equipment used in debris removal and the reconstruction of residential areas previously damaged in earlier Israeli attacks.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson described Israel’s persistent breaches of the ceasefire agreement and its military incursions into Lebanese territory as “a blatant violation of the United Nations Charter and international law.”
He further criticized the inaction of the United States and France — both recognized as guarantors of the ceasefire — and called on the international community to take concrete measures to restrain Israel’s unlawful behavior and aggression against Lebanon and other countries in the region.
