German Foreign Minister Accuses Iran and Yemen; Fact or Political Game?
Rokna Political Desk: The German Foreign Minister, by making accusations against Iran and Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, has claimed that Tehran supports this group to create instability in the region — allegations that have provoked widespread reactions.

The German Foreign Minister on Monday accused Iran and Ansarullah of Yemen of attempting to “destabilize the region.”
According to Rokna, Johann Wadephul, the German Foreign Minister, said in remarks published on the official X account of the German Foreign Ministry:
“The European Union and the Gulf states have common interests. Germany is expanding its global partnerships. In the Gulf region, we cooperate closely with our partners in economic and security fields.”
He continued:
“The Houthis not only threaten Israel with their attacks but also endanger global trade. Europe, and particularly the Gulf states, are suffering from this situation. The European Union, through its naval operation Aspides, contributes to security in the Red Sea.”
The German Foreign Minister went on to claim that Ansarullah is an “Iranian proxy group,” and alleged that Tehran uses it to “destabilize the region.”
He said:
“Together with the Gulf Cooperation Council, we are acting toward Iran on the basis of an international, rules-based order.”
Wadephul added:
“In the coming days, implementing the first stage of the U.S. peace plan for Gaza will be of key importance. The fact that countries in the region support this plan is a positive sign. But much remains to be done, and we will also play our part.”
He concluded:
“That is why I am holding talks in Israel today and will continue my trip to Egypt. This week is decisive — for the release of hostages, the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the achievement of a ceasefire. Every effort in this direction is worthwhile.”
