Which body will Hamas hand its weapons to? — Details of Al Arabiya’s claim
Rokna Political Desk: A source within Hamas has reportedly told Al Arabiya that the movement has agreed to transfer its weapons to a Palestinian‑Egyptian body under international supervision, according to a summary carried by Entekhab. The source said the decision was taken in the context of guarantees provided by the United States and mediated by Qatar.

According toRokna, the Hamas source said the group has already begun recovering Israeli dead and has requested a halt to the bombardment to complete that mission. The source added: “Through Qatar we have received U.S. guarantees for a permanent Israeli withdrawal.”
On the question of disarmament, the source told Al Arabiya: “We have agreed to hand over the weapons to a Palestinian‑Egyptian entity under international supervision.” He also said: “We have informed the United States of our agreement to hand over the weapons.”
The claims come amid ongoing indirect negotiations and international mediation efforts aimed at securing a ceasefire and the return of captives. Hamas has previously emphasized that any official decisions will be announced through its formal channels.
