Around 400 Iranians to Be Deported from the U.S.; Iranian Foreign Ministry Responds
Rokna Political Desk: Around 400 Iranians are set to be deported from the United States, prompting Tehran to confirm consular support and express concern over the unilateral U.S. action.

According to Rokna, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that approximately 120 Iranian citizens, who were detained for illegal entry into the United States, are set to be returned to the country in the coming days. This move is part of a broader U.S. immigration effort targeting nearly 400 Iranians, most of whom reportedly entered the U.S. via Mexico.
Hossein Noushabadi, Director-General of Parliamentary and Consular Affairs at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, stated that the first group of 120 individuals will soon be repatriated. He noted that while most of these individuals entered via Mexico, some held valid residency permits but were nonetheless included in the deportation list with their consent for return.
The returning individuals are expected to travel through Qatar, with the first flight landing in Iran in the coming days. Iranian authorities emphasized that the deportees will receive full consular support and that their safety is guaranteed.
This action comes amid a lack of formal agreements between the United States and Iran regarding the deportations. Iranian officials noted that the U.S. authorities unilaterally made the decision without prior consultation with Tehran, and Qatari authorities have not officially confirmed the transit arrangements.
