Erdogan Highlights Iran’s Nuclear Issue and Role in Iraq’s Security at UN
Rokna Political Desk: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the United Nations, underscored the importance of diplomacy in resolving Iran’s nuclear issue and emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran’s role in supporting the stability and security of Iraq, warning that the region cannot endure another crisis.

“We hope that Iran’s nuclear issue will soon be resolved through diplomatic means, as the region cannot bear a fresh crisis,” Erdogan stated.
Highlighting Iraq’s significance, he added: “The stability, security, and future outlook of Iraq, as one of our neighbors, is of special importance for the entire region, and the Islamic Republic of Iran supports Iraq’s stability and its strategic activities in the country.”
Erdogan also reiterated Turkey’s call for a resolution of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, both of which are Turkey’s neighbors. In this context, he noted that talks have been held to facilitate the exchange of prisoners and the repatriation of fallen soldiers between the two sides.
