Iran Receives Russian MiG-29 Fighter Jets, Awaits Delivery of Su-35s
Rokna Political Desk: Abolfazl Zohrevand, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, announced that Russian MiG-29 fighter jets have been delivered to Iran as a short-term solution, while Su-35 jets will gradually arrive as part of long-term defense plans.
According to Rokna, Abolfazl Zohrevand, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and Tehran’s representative in the 12th Parliament, stated in an interview that Russian MiG-29 fighter jets have been delivered to Iran as a short-term solution, while Su-35 fighter jets will gradually arrive as part of long-term defense strategies.
He further revealed that the HQ-9 air defense system is also being supplied to Iran, with the S-400 system likewise on its way.
