Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Arrives in Moscow

According to Rokna, citing the Government Information Portal, Mohammad Eslami, Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, arrived at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport at the head of a delegation to meet and hold talks with Russian officials and participate in the events of Russia’s Atomic Energy Week. He was welcomed upon arrival by Kazem Jalali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia.

Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Iran announced that, as part of commemorating the 80th anniversary of the country’s nuclear industry, a comprehensive event bringing together the global nuclear community and the general public under the title “Global Atomic Week” will be held for the first time.

In its statement, the Russian Embassy in Iran wrote: “In 2025, Russian nuclear industry experts will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the country’s nuclear industry.”
