Trump described Kirk’s assassination as an attack on all conservatives, calling the alleged shooter a “radicalized, cold-blooded monster.” He praised Kirk’s dedication to mobilizing youth voters and acknowledged his own differences with Kirk, particularly regarding his approach to political opponents. Trump also highlighted Kirk’s “will to fight” and touched on future initiatives related to Kirk’s vision, including Turning Point USA.
Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, delivered an emotional speech, pledging to continue her late husband’s work.
