Axios Reports:
Trump’s Talks with Arab Leaders in New York – The Fate of Diplomacy at Stake
Rokna Political Desk: “Trump is set to meet Arab leaders on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly to discuss ending the Gaza war; the meeting comes as the wave of recognition of a Palestinian state spreads worldwide.”

Trump plans to meet on Tuesday with a select group of Arab and Muslim leaders on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York to discuss ways to bring the war in Gaza to an end.
According to Rokna, quoting Axios, the report adds that the meeting will take place just days before Trump hosts Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on September 29.
The meeting also comes amid a wave of recognition of a Palestinian state by Western nations, while Israel has threatened to respond with the annexation of parts of the occupied West Bank.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The White House has already issued invitations for the meeting, which is expected to take place Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
According to Arab officials, leaders from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey have been invited to attend.
The White House seeks to involve the invited Arab and Muslim countries in a post-war plan for Gaza, including potentially contributing personnel to a stabilization force that would replace Israeli troops.
Arab leaders are expected to urge Trump to pressure Netanyahu to end the war in Gaza and refrain from annexing parts of the West Bank.
