Pezeshkian’s Delegation for New York Trip: Details and Names
Rokna Political Desk: Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, will travel to New York on Tuesday, 22 September, accompanied by Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi and a group of senior government officials to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
President Pezeshkian is scheduled to deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly during his visit.
According to Rokna, the President’s Office has confirmed that Haji Mirzaei, as Chief of Staff; Seyed Mehdi Tabatabai, as Deputy for Information Affairs; Mehdi Sanaei, as Political Advisor to the President; and Seyed Abbas Mousavi, Deputy for Protocol, will accompany Pezeshkian to New York.
Among cabinet ministers and government deputies, only Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi will join the President on this trip.
Reports indicate that, compared to previous years, only a limited number of media personnel will travel as part of the President’s team. The Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA) office in the United States will assist the President’s media team during the visit.
It is noteworthy that President Pezeshkian has previously emphasized, following his trip to China, the importance of reducing travel costs and limiting the number of accompanying officials.
