Erdogan to Netanyahu: Jerusalem Is in Our Hearts, Not a Single Stone Will Be Surrendered

President Erdogan stressed that Turkey will not surrender any part of Jerusalem, let alone the historic Silwan inscription, to anyone.

According to Rokna, Erdogan made these remarks on Friday during his speech at Teknofest in Istanbul, the world’s largest aerospace, space, and technology festival.

Erdogan said, “I salute my brothers in Gaza who, despite Israel’s genocidal war, have not abandoned their land.”

He also referred to a recently released video of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explaining his attempt to obtain the historic Silwan inscription from Turkey.

Erdogan declared, “An individual (Netanyahu) shamelessly appeared, seeking to claim the Silwan inscription. Beyond this tablet, we will not give you even a single small stone from Jerusalem.”

On Wednesday, Erdogan reaffirmed Turkey’s ongoing support for the Gaza Strip, pledging to stand against what he described as Israeli violence, and warned that Israel’s attempts to control Gaza are “doomed to fail.”

Referring to the continuing military operations in Gaza, he added, “History proves that such actions are destined to fail.”
