Trump and Melania Make Emergency Landing in the UK Due to Helicopter Glitch
Rokna Political Desk: A helicopter carrying former U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump was forced to make an emergency landing during their official visit to the UK due to a minor technical fault, though both emerged unharmed.

According to Rokna during their state visit to the United Kingdom on September 18, 2025, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump faced a technical issue with their helicopter, Marine One.
While traveling from Chequers to Stansted Airport, the aircraft experienced a minor hydraulic problem. As a precautionary measure, the helicopter made an emergency landing at Luton Airport. Following the landing, the Trumps were safely transferred to a support helicopter and continued their journey to Stansted Airport, where they boarded Air Force One for their return to the United States.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the incident, describing it as a “minor hydraulic issue” and emphasizing that the landing at Luton was a precaution to ensure safety.
The incident came at the conclusion of a two-day state visit, which included meetings with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and members of the British Royal Family. Despite the technical problem, both President Trump and First Lady Melania were unharmed and completed their departure from the UK as scheduled.
