NATO Secretary General: Russian Missiles Can Threaten London Within 10 Minutes

According to Rokna, citing The Times, the NATO Secretary General stated: “Russia’s new missiles can travel at five times the speed of sound. Reaching Madrid or London will take only five to ten minutes longer than reaching Tallinn or Vilnius.”

Referring to Russia’s military capabilities, the NATO Secretary General cautioned that the new Russian missiles could travel at five times the speed of sound and could reach London or Madrid within five to ten minutes.

Mark Rutte, NATO Secretary General, claimed on Saturday that London and Madrid are as exposed to attack as countries closer to Russia.

In a press conference, Rutte added: “We all live on the eastern flank. So, in this regard, let us agree that within this 32-country alliance, we all live on the eastern flank.”

Previously, the NATO Secretary General announced that NATO will launch the “Eastern Guard” operation to “strengthen its position” along the alliance’s eastern flank.

He emphasized: “This military activity will commence in the coming days and will involve a wide range of allies, including Denmark, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and others.”
