Doha Summit and Possible Suspension of Qatar-Israel Cooperation
Rokna Political Desk: The emergency summit of Arab and Islamic leaders in Doha, focusing on unprecedented Israeli aggressions and the potential suspension of relations, presents an opportunity to unify regional positions and make decisive decisions.

The Qatari newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, citing informed sources, reported that the emergency summit of Arab and Islamic leaders, scheduled for Monday in Doha, is expected to result in significant decisions, potentially including the suspension of relations with Israel.
According to Rokna, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed wrote that all eyes are on Doha, where the host of the emergency summit of Arab-Islamic leaders will address Israel’s unprecedented aggressive attack on Qatar—a move the newspaper describes as a dangerous turning point in the nature of regional conflicts. The summit is expected to adopt decisive measures, which may include severing economic relations with Israel and halting attacks on Gaza.
Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, quoting an informed Egyptian source, reported that Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will participate in the summit, reflecting Cairo’s commitment to unifying Arab and Islamic positions regarding Israeli aggressions and seeking a joint mechanism to counter them.
The Egyptian source added that Cairo believes the summit must adopt decisions “commensurate with the scale of the aggressions” and restore the credibility of Arab joint cooperation, which has declined over recent years.
In preparation for the summit, Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, held phone conversations today (Saturday) with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
According to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, these discussions assessed the current situation and exchanged views on addressing political and security challenges facing the region following recent events. The foreign ministers emphasized “the importance of strengthening Arab and Islamic solidarity and continuing coordination in political, diplomatic, and economic fields to ensure regional security and stability.”
