Iraqchi Holds Phone Talks with Foreign Ministers of Greece, Slovenia, and Sierra Leone
Rokna Political Desk: Iran’s Foreign Minister held separate telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Greece, Slovenia, and Sierra Leone.

According to Rokna, citing the Government’s official news portal, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, spoke on Friday with George Grapheritis, Foreign Minister of Greece; Tanja Fajon, Foreign Minister of Slovenia; and Alhaji Musa Timoti Kaba, Foreign Minister of Sierra Leone. All three countries currently hold membership in the United Nations Security Council. The discussions focused on bilateral relations, regional and international developments, and particularly the actions of three European countries—United Kingdom, France, and Germany—within the Security Council.
During these calls, the Iranian minister criticized the improper and unlawful actions of the three European countries in attempting to reinstate previously revoked Security Council resolutions, describing these measures as irresponsible. Emphasizing Iran’s adherence to diplomacy, Araqchi underlined that the Islamic Republic remains steadfast in defending its legitimate rights.
The Foreign Minister also stressed the necessity of adopting diplomatic measures to resolve disputes over Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, calling on the Security Council to support diplomacy, prevent unlawful actions, and avoid escalating tensions.
The foreign ministers of Greece, Slovenia, and Sierra Leone, in turn, affirmed their support for diplomatic solutions as the primary and ultimate means for resolving international issues and emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and diplomacy.
