Revelations by Anne Singleton on the Financial and Terrorist Operations of the MEK + Video

According to Rokna, the thirty-seventh session of the court addressing the charges against members of the MEK and examining the nature of the organization as a legal entity was held in Branch One of the Criminal Court of Tehran Province.

The session commenced with the presence of the families of terror victims. During the court proceedings, the prosecutors and plaintiffs’ attorneys highlighted the structured organization of the MEK, emphasizing that throughout its years of activity, the group has engaged in networks of assassination and abduction, perpetrating brutal torture and physical elimination of individuals.

In part of the session, Anne Singleton, an English researcher and European former member of the MEK, detailed the sources of the group’s financial support and disclosed information regarding the MEK’s covert collaborations with foreign backers and the receipt of financial aid to carry out terrorist operations.

According to judges and legal representatives, the MEK’s cooperation with hostile governments, including the former Ba’athist regime in Iraq and the Israeli regime in recent years, has been a core element of the organization’s terrorist activities. The MEK has exploited these collaborations to obtain intelligence, financial, military, and armament support.

The families of terror victims also voiced their demands during the session, calling for the strictest possible punishment for the perpetrators and supporters of this group.

This court, conducted as part of collective justice efforts by the families of terror victims, continues to examine various dimensions of the crimes committed by the MEK.
