Vitkoff: Lengthy Meetings on Iran Scheduled This Week

According to Rokna, Vitkoff emphasized: “This week we will hold lengthy meetings on the conflicts in Gaza and Iran, as well as the dispute between Russia and Ukraine.”

He added: “We hope that the cases of Gaza, Iran, Russia, and Ukraine will be resolved before the end of this year.”

New York Times Claim Regarding U.S. Proposal to Iran

The New York Times, reporting on the dispatch of a written proposal from Washington to Tehran, has provided details of this proposal.

The New York Times claimed: In its proposal to Iran, the United States has demanded a complete halt to uranium enrichment in Iran—a red line that Tehran has repeatedly rejected until now.

Washington has also proposed the establishment of a regional nuclear consortium.

According to this proposal, Iran, Saudi Arabia, several Arab states, and the United States would jointly participate in this consortium for the peaceful production of nuclear energy.

This plan, designed by Steve Vitkoff, the U.S. chief negotiator, constitutes the first formal American proposal that has been put on paper since the beginning of the new round of talks in April.
