Araghchi and Egyptian Foreign Minister Discuss Escalating Crises and Regional Stability
Rokna Political Desk: The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Egypt emphasized the necessity of continuing consultations and dialogues at bilateral and multilateral levels, as well as in regional and international forums, to prevent the escalation of crises and maintain stability in the region.

According to Rokna, from the government’s official information portal, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Badr Abdel-Aati, Foreign Minister of Egypt, met and exchanged views last night ahead of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) foreign ministers’ meeting in Jeddah.
During the meeting, the Iranian and Egyptian foreign ministers discussed the latest bilateral, regional, and international developments, particularly regarding the critical humanitarian situation in Gaza due to the continued oppressive blockade of the Strip and the aggressive plans of the Israeli regime to intensify attacks and fully occupy Gaza. They emphasized the urgent need for effective action by Islamic countries to halt the genocide and facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the region.
The Iranian Foreign Minister stressed the importance of leveraging the collective cooperation capacities of Islamic countries to counter hostile actions by the Israeli regime and added: “Solidarity and unity among Muslim countries in the face of common threats, especially the expansionist policies of Israel, are of special significance, and we must utilize all capacities to strengthen collective cooperation and effectively confront this genocidal regime.”
The Iranian Foreign Minister also briefed his Egyptian counterpart on the latest developments regarding the nuclear negotiations with three European countries.
In conclusion, the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Egypt reiterated the necessity of continuing consultations and dialogues at bilateral and multilateral levels, as well as in regional and international forums, to prevent the escalation of crises and maintain stability in the region.
