Iraqchi Travels to Saudi Arabia
Rokna Political Desk: Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, today (Sunday) departed for Jeddah at the head of a diplomatic delegation to participate in an extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

According to Rokna, via the official government news portal, the purpose of this summit is to examine the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, coordinate the provision of immediate assistance, and review the legal and political dimensions of the Zionist regime’s intentions for the permanent occupation of Gaza.
The Iranian Foreign Minister had previously emphasized that the upcoming OIC Foreign Ministers’ meeting must become a turning point that consolidates the collective resolve of Islamic countries to curb Netanyahu’s insatiable ambitions and his associates, and to prevent the continued slaughter of innocents, destruction of Islamic countries, and annexation of their lands.
Araqchi further noted that the summit should not be limited to expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people or voicing concern over the current situation. Rather, it represents a historic test for the Islamic Ummah and perhaps one of the rare opportunities to form a regional and global coalition to halt Israeli aggressions. He stressed that the meeting should go beyond issuing statements of condemnation and lead to the exertion of maximum political and diplomatic pressure through the formation of a powerful international coalition that compels the Zionist regime to immediately cease its genocide and cancel its expansionist, separatist, and occupation projects.
