Trump: I Ended Six Wars in Six Months!

According to Rokna, President Trump stated on Monday local time in posts published on his social media platform “Truth Social”: “I settled six wars in the span of six months, one of which could have turned into a nuclear disaster.”

He added: “Nevertheless, I have to read and listen to the Wall Street Journal and many others who truly have no knowledge, and allow them to tell me that I am wrong about the Russia-Ukraine chaos.”

Trump: I Seek to End the Ukraine War

The U.S. President asserted: “This is Sleepy Joe Biden’s war, not mine. I am only seeking to stop it, not to escalate it.”

Trump again claimed: “If I had been president, this would never have happened. I know exactly what I am doing, and I do not need the advice of people who have worked for years on all these conflicts yet have never been able to do anything to stop them.”

He continued: “They are ‘fools,’ lacking common sense, intelligence, or understanding, and they only make ending the current Russia-Ukraine catastrophe more difficult. Despite all the unimportant and highly jealous critics, I will do this – I always do!!!”

In another message, Trump wrote: “I am fully certain that if Russia raised its hands and said: ‘We surrender, we retreat, we will give Ukraine and Great America, as the most respected and powerful countries in history, Moscow and St. Petersburg and everything surrounding them for a thousand miles,’ the fake media and their Democrat partners would still claim that it was a bad and humiliating day for Donald J. Trump, one of the worst days in the history of our country. But that is exactly why they are fake news and the extremely failed far-left Democrats.”

Zelensky Can End or Continue the War

The U.S. President also declared in another post: “Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky can almost immediately end the war with Russia, or, if he wishes, he can continue it. Remember how the war began. Crimea, which Obama gave away (12 years ago, without firing a single shot!), will not be taken back, and Ukraine cannot join NATO. Some things never change!!!”

Trump: Hamas Must Be Confronted

In yet another post, Trump repeated his claims against the Hamas resistance movement, saying: “We will only see the return of the remaining hostages once Hamas is confronted and destroyed!!! The sooner this happens, the greater the chance of success.”

Repetition of Anti-Iran Allegations

The U.S. President, reiterating his anti-Iran claims, asserted: “Remember, I was the one who negotiated and secured the release of hundreds of hostages, transferring them to Israel (and the United States). I was the one who ended six wars in just six months. I was the one who destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities. Play to win, or do not play at all!”

Today, August 18, 2025, corresponding to 27 Mordad 1404, the White House is hosting a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky. This summit, attended by more than six European leaders and officials of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), will focus on ending the war in Ukraine and negotiating a peace agreement with Russia.

Zelensky, who has traveled to Washington for the meeting with Trump, has reacted to the U.S. President’s remarks and his conditions for ending the war. He stressed that his country seeks to achieve a sustainable peace that does not result in the loss of Crimea or the Donbas region.

On his personal account on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Zelensky wrote: “All of us strongly wish to bring this war to a quick and safe end. This peace must be permanent, and not like years ago when Ukraine was forced to surrender Crimea and parts of the eastern Donbas region, which later became a springboard for Putin’s new aggression.”

However, the U.S. President, on the eve of his meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart in Washington, emphasized that the restoration of Crimea or Ukraine’s accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is out of the question.
