BBC Mocks Netanyahu’s Water Promise to Iranians Amid Israel’s Crisis

The fifth drought in Tehran is ongoing, while the spokesperson for the water industry announced the successful provision of drinking water to the capital with the cooperation of citizens in water conservation. Now, focusing on the issue of water, Netanyahu has addressed Iran in a video message, stating that “abundant water will soon arrive.”

The promise to supply water to Iran comes at a time when, according to reports from the Virtual Jewish Library in Israel, the water situation in recent years has become so critical that there are fears that by next summer, providing sufficient water for urban and domestic needs in the occupied territories will be challenging.

BBC Reporter Mocks Netanyahu’s Message to Iranians

A BBC Persian reporter ridiculed Netanyahu’s message to Iranians as an old, worn-out psychological warfare tactic.

This is not the first message from Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, to the Iranian people in which he attempts to portray himself as a supporter of Iranians and references Iranian symbols such as Cyrus the Great.

In the past, Netanyahu has repeatedly tried to attract the attention of Iran’s public using domestic events, even chanting the Persian slogan “Women, Life, Freedom.” This comes while the Zionist regime, during the 12-day war, targeted innocent civilians, including attacking kindergartens.

Siavash Ardalan, a BBC Persian journalist, reacted to Netanyahu’s message promising water to Iranians in a tweet:
"Netanyahu’s message to the Iranian people: You don’t even have cool water to give your children in this heat. Good news: tomorrow, a flood of Israeli experts will pour into Iran. Imagine water skiing behind the Karaj Dam. Walking hand in hand with your beloved along the Farrokhzad River. Reviving Lake Urmia. It’s not a dream. Rise up."

The BBC Persian journalist implicitly criticized Netanyahu for selling illusions, a longstanding Western tactic. Meanwhile, Israel ranks ninth in water stress, with a precarious situation. While the West and Zionists offer colorful promises to mislead public opinion, Iranians who have emigrated to Western countries have reported the difficult living conditions and numerous challenges in those countries.

Netanyahu’s message indicates that the Zionist regime has become disillusioned with a military attack on Iran and is now focused on creating tension within the country.

This message is being sent to Iranians while the situation in the Gaza Strip is highly concerning in terms of food crisis. The Zionist regime, in addition to closing access routes, shoots and kills civilians waiting in food distribution lines.

Recently, a journalist present in Gaza, along with several colleagues, was killed in an attack by the Zionist regime.
