Daughter of Major General Bagheri Recalls Sister’s Martyrdom in Israeli Attack; Explosion Centered in Her Room

According to Rokna, during the Israeli assault, Fatemeh Afshari, daughter of the martyr Major General Bagheri, in a ceremony marking the inauguration of Fereshteh’s studio, narrated the recent bitter events, portraying her family’s loss and speaking about the destructive effects of the incident.

Observations of Major General Bagheri’s Daughter Regarding the Explosion

Citing news agencies, Fatemeh Afshari stated that the explosion at their residence caused the loss of her father, mother, and sister. She emphasized that their home was severely damaged and nothing remains of the house.

She declared: “I have no memento of my sister because the main explosion occurred in her room and everything was destroyed. I even requested that copies or photographs of Fereshteh’s documents and student ID be made for us so that we might have some keepsake.”

Severity of the Explosion and Its Consequences

The martyr’s daughter further said that the blast was so intense that the home safe was thrown into the neighbor’s yard. She also mentioned that only limited and sparse belongings from their paternal home have been found.

Additionally, the survival of a Qur’an gifted to her daughter Hasna last year was among the items she referenced, considering this Qur’an one of the few remnants of the tragic event.

Fereshteh’s Room; The Epicenter of the Explosion

Fatemeh Afshari elaborated on further details of the incident: “The main explosion was in Fereshteh’s room and nothing was left of it.” This statement reflects the intensity and extent of the damage caused by the explosion in her sister’s room.

This sorrowful incident once again depicted a facet of the destructive and violent acts of the enemies, aiming to raise societal awareness of the harsh realities of war and military conflicts.
