Shamkhani Named Leader’s Envoy to Defense Council

According to Rokna, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a decree, appointed Ali Akbar Ahmadian and Ali Shamkhani as his representatives to the Defense Council.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a decree appointed Ali Akbar Ahmadian and Ali Shamkhani as his representatives to the Defense Council.

The text of the decree is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
In view of the approval and formation of the Defense Council, I hereby appoint Dr. Ali Akbar Ahmadian and Mr. Shamkhani as my representatives in that council.
I ask God Almighty to grant success to them and to the other members of the council.
