Will the IAEA Delegation Be Allowed to Inspect Iran’s Nuclear Facilities?
Rokna Political Desk – The delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), during its upcoming visit to Iran next week, will only be permitted to conduct technical negotiations and will not be authorized to carry out inspections or gain access to nuclear facilities. This position is in accordance with the law passed by the Iranian Parliament and is outside the framework of the government’s and the Atomic Energy Organization’s agenda.

he Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament stated that the IAEA delegation scheduled to visit Iran next week is only authorized to hold technical negotiations, and nuclear facility inspections are not on the agenda.
Ebrahim Azizi, Chairman of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, wrote on his personal page on the social media platform X:
"The delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which is scheduled to visit Iran next week, is only permitted to engage in technical negotiations with the Iranian side."
He further stated:
"No form of access to nuclear facilities or inspections as related to the Parliament’s law is possible, and such matters are not within the agenda of the government or the Atomic Energy Organization."
