Pezeshkian Recalls Rescue During Israeli Attack: “I Saw Light and Helped Others Escape”
Rokna Political Desk – Mohammad Jafar Ghaempanah, Vice President for Executive Affairs, detailed the incident involving the attack on the Supreme National Security Council meeting during the 12-day war, stating: After the bombing of the location, which was severely damaged, some individuals assisted Dr. Pezeshkian in escaping through an opening. Then, he extended his hand to help others evacuate as well.

Ghaempanah added: “As described by the President, following the explosions, a significant amount of soil entered the meeting space, and the electricity was also cut off. The individuals present split into several groups in search of an exit route.”
Dr. Pezeshkian saw a light the size of two palms and moved aside the soil that had accumulated there, opening a path to the outside and exiting the premises.
The Vice President for Executive Affairs further stated: Some individuals helped Dr. Pezeshkian exit through that gap, and afterward, he reached back to help others out as well. They immediately boarded a damaged vehicle and returned to their workplace. That location was subsequently targeted two more times, resulting in the martyrdom of several rescue personnel, unfortunately.
