Major Breakthrough in China’s High-Speed Transport: Maglev Train Hits 800 km/h
Rokna Economic Desk: China has taken a major step forward in high-speed transportation after successfully testing a maglev train that reached 800 km/h in just seconds, highlighting rapid progress in next-generation rail technology.
According to Rokna, citing Xinhua, a significant milestone in high-speed transportation has been achieved. East Lake Laboratory in Hubei Province, central China, announced on Friday that its test maglev line successfully accelerated a 1.1-tonne model train to 800 kilometers per hour in just 5.3 seconds.
According to the research center, this experiment represents a remarkable leap in magnetic levitation train technology and underscores China’s capacity to develop the next generation of ultra-fast transport systems. The achievement could play a pivotal role in the future of rail travel, dramatically reducing the time required for long-distance journeys.
