Iran registers over 31,000 COVID-19 cases in a day

According to the statement released on Monday by the Iranian Health Ministry, the number of total coronavirus cases in the country has so far reached 3,723,246 with the death toll standing at 89,122.

4,982 patients are in critical condition while 3,274,346 patients have recovered, the statement added.

So far more than 25.6 million tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases, according to the ministry's statement.
