Police 'poised to question serial killer Levi Bellfield about more attacks on women'

Police are poised to question serial killer Levi Bellfield on more attacks on women, it is claimed.

It is said that Met Police detectives have written to the jailed 52-year-old to inform him and they have plans to question him over a number of still unsolved crimes.

Bellfield is serving life sentences for murdering schoolgirl Milly Dowler, 13, and students Amelie Delagrange, 22, and Marsha McDonnell, 19, between 2002 and 2004.

The rapist and triple murderer was also convicted of trying to kill Kate Sheedy, then 18, when he ran over her as she crossed a road.

He is currently an inmate at maximum security Frankland Prison in County Durham

Bellfield was suspected of attacking more than 100 women when he was jailed in 2008.

Now, detectives believe they have traced the ex-bouncer’s movements and vehicles as he travelled around for wheel-clamping contracts, the Sun reported.

Detectives want to quiz him over a hammer attack on a 34-year-old woman in Twickenham Green in April 2004, as well as other assaults, the report added.

The Met Police declined to comment.

Bellfield was dubbed the "Bus Stop Killer" and "Bus Stop Stalker".

He was arrested in 2004 and sentenced to life in 2008 for the murders of Marsha and Amelie, who were both killed after getting off a bus.

In 2010, the wheel clamper and club doorman was charged for the murder of Milly

It came eight years after her death. He was convicted in 2011.

Bellfield hunted victims in south-west London and Surrey.

He changed his name to Yusuf Rahim after converting to Islam in prison.Follow the Official Rokna NEWS Telegram Channel For More and fresh NEWS.
