He will work as Bo Svensson’s assistant in Mainz.
Keyhanfar is the second Iranian coach working in Bundesliga after Alexander Nouri who coached Werder Bremen.
The 35-year-old Iranian coach had already worked as Svensson’s assistant in Austria's FC Liefering.
