Iran-Azerbaijan borders to remain in peace forever: Ambassador Mousavi
Rokna: The Ambassador of Iran to Azerbaijan said that Iran-Azerbaijan border areas have become the borders of peace and friendship forever due to the historical, religious and cultural common points between the two countries.
Seyyed Abbas Mousavi made the remarks in a tweeted message on Tuesday referring to the latest statements of the president of Azerbaijan regarding the common border areas between the two countries, Mehr News Agency (MNA) reported.
President Ilham Aliyev, in a phone call with President Hassan Rouhani of Iran in October had said Iran’s security is highly significant for Azerbaijan.
He added that relations with Iran have been expanding in recent years and Baku welcomes the development of bilateral ties with Tehran in the future.
