New Jersey man charged with fatally stabbing woman convicted as teen for knifing neighbor: report

Brandon Petersen, 31, was taken into custody in Pennsylvania on Monday for allegedly the victim in Delaware Township, N.J. a day earlier,.

“On December 6, 2020, at approximately 9:13 p.m., officers from the Delaware Township Police Department responded to an emergency call within the Township,” Hunterdon County Acting Prosecutor Michael J. Williams said in a statement.

“Upon arrival, they discovered that the victim’s friends had transported her to a local hospital in Mercer County where she succumbed to her injuries,” he said.

Cops began searching Petersen, but did not specify why he was a suspect or how the unidentified woman was killed .

Charges against Petersen were pending Tuesday.

The New Jersey man was busted in 2005 for brutally stabbing his 57-year-old neighbor during a robbery attempt, NJ.com reported.

Petersen, who was just 15 years old at the time, was trying to pay off a Drug dealer and stabbed Doris Zayacz in the head, check, forehead and wrists while attempting to take her money.

A piece of the knife ended up stuck in Zayacz’s head, and all the blood from the killing destroyed the cellphone she tried to use to call for help.

The neighbor miraculously survived the grisly Attack . Petersen was sentenced to 13 years in prison in 2008.
